As Election Judge for Precinct 309, Chriesman, Texas, for this year and next year, I am proud to say that our elections are fair and secure. Burleson County Elections operate within the rules as set forth from the Secretary of State of Texas office. For more updates: https://www.burlesoncountytx.gov/page/gov.election.postings
I have volunteered as an election clerk for the past four years. As Election Judge, I am responsible for the polling place in the Chriesman Community Center. I help set the equipment before voting begins, post required signs and administer the site until closed. We then take down the equipment after verifying the total numbers of votes placed. Document any anomalies. During voting hours, we rotate trained personnel on the different stations at the polling place. All training is through the Secretary of State’s office. I am very confident in the integrity of our election personnel as well as the equipment used in processing votes. The redundant checks and verification procedures used by poll workers throughout the voting days ensure accuracy and accountability. The many rules and regulations that govern our election system are available at https://www.sos.state.tx.us/elections/
This mid-term election we will elect our Governor, Lt. Governor, Comptroller, General Land Office Commissioner, Agriculture Commissioner, Railroad Commissioner, Texas Supreme Court Justices, Texas Court of Criminal appeals, and Federal Senate and House Representatives. Questions: https://www.votetexas.gov/ find your registration status, polling location, who are your representatives and preview ballot. See you at the Polls!!!
